Founded in 2013 by Julia & Martin Markiewicz and Michael Wilkowski on the heels of a successful IPO exit from their previous startup. 

Backed by investors and VCs from around the world, Silent Eight raised $6.2m in their Series A in Q4 2019.  Currently, we have team members located in New York, London, Singapore, Chicago and Warsaw.


Who we are looking for

Top individual contributors who want run regions within 2 years

A+, proven winner who wants to dramatically accelerate their short and long term earnings. 

Deep understanding of finCrime and a broad knowledge of financial services.

Successful track record of selling large regulatory solutions into Financial Services, not a step-up role.  

Remote position and may involve domestic and international travel. Due to the nature of the role you may be required to operate outside of normal business hours. 

Career oriented role - strong individual contributors who are looking to quickly move to regional revenue management. The desired path for this role is within 2 years to have grown revenue individually and then start to build your own regional team. How quickly this happens is up to you.

Compliance expertise – have worked in or sold into Compliance departments.  Broad experience across one or more areas including Retail Banking; Savings, Investments, Insurance, Wealth and Asset/Investment Management would also be beneficial.  Being seen as a thought leader in the space would also be advantageous.

Delivery focused able to transition seamlessly between working within a team, managing internal and external relationships, thought leadership and hands-on execution.  Evidence ability to make strategic moves by planning realistically, breaking down barriers and overcoming problems.

Sharp and restless – understands issues quickly and constantly seeks creative solutions and outcomes.  Candidates will be able to articulate where they have added value to organizations.

Customer obsessed – keeps current and prospect customer needs front and centre, creates relevant propositions and business development drives. Candidates will be comfortable and experienced with developing and executing a financial services B2B proposition, and have an innate ability to add value to customers by effectively cross selling. 

Creative – able to bring a different perspective to relationships, new business, problem solving and future innovation.

Resilient – demonstrates the endurance to recover from setbacks quickly and maintain a positive outlook.  Candidates will have examples of how they have dealt with disappointing or unexpected outcomes, and where they have learned and thrived following this.
